Bonny Boys are Few
by Michael John O’Neill
the true story of a father, reimagined by a son.
Bonny Boys are Few was a show by Enormous Yes that used music, storytelling and film to tell the story of writer Michael John O'Neill, a fictional conquistador, and an immortal eel that eats misery. The show drew on traditions of Irish music, history and mythology and was first developed for The Arches at Arches Live 2013.
Subsequently, Bonny Boys are Few was performed at The Roundhouse, the Brighton Fringe and the Edinburgh Fringe to consistent critical acclaim.
